The AIME project offers comprehensive guidelines and practical scenarios to help teachers and students navigate the ethical use of AI in creative writing.
By integrating AI literacy into the classroom, we prepare learners to innovate responsibly in diverse cultural contexts while promoting international collaboration and exchange.
Key idea.
The project specifically focuses on creative writing. This area was chosen because creativity is considered the most desirable characteristic of modern individuals, enabling adaptation to new circumstances. However, creative writing is also the area most controversial concerning AI use and raises the greatest ethical doubts.
Key ethical dilemmas in creative writing and AI include:
• Determining whether AI-generated work should be considered authoritative or plagiarism.
• Defining the limits to which AI is allowed to interfere in the author’s text for the author to continue to view the output as their own work.
